To keep the speaker and MP3 players dry they are best place in a food container box, used with the lid off, but if it is used in wet conditions drilling small holes ither in the lid will allow most of the volume to be retained as out put with the lid on. The speakers are re-chargebale and do not require batteries. We recommend using re-chargebale batteries in your MP3 player.
